This Privacy Policy explains how BigHipo handles information when you use the private BigHipo Discord application inside the official HipoBuy Discord community.
01 — Information We Process
BigHipo is currently limited to the /estimate command. When you use that command, BigHipo processes the information needed to produce the estimate, such as destination country, package weight, and optional package dimensions.
BigHipo does not intentionally collect or build a persistent database of users, and it does not use user information for advertising, profiling, or selling personal information.
02 — HipoBuy Server Information
BigHipo is not intended to collect, publish, leak, or redistribute private HipoBuy server information. The bot does not intentionally scrape or publish server member lists, private messages, channel content, or other confidential server content.
When a Discord command is used, Discord necessarily provides the application with certain interaction and technical metadata needed to process that command. BigHipo does not intentionally retain that metadata after the request is completed.
BigHipo's access is limited by the permissions and data access granted to the Discord application. If those permissions or the bot's functionality change, this policy will be updated before the new functionality is released.
03 — What /estimate Sends
To calculate a shipping estimate, the values required for the estimate may be sent to the service used to provide HipoBuy shipping estimates. This can include the destination country, package weight, and dimensions entered by the user.
BigHipo does not intentionally send unrelated Discord server content, private messages, or member lists as part of an /estimate request.
04 — Storage and Retention
BigHipo does not maintain a persistent database of user-submitted estimate information. Information used to generate a request is not intentionally retained after processing.
Temporary technical logs may be created by hosting, Discord, or other infrastructure used to operate the bot. BigHipo cannot guarantee that information is never technically logged outside the bot's own application storage.
05 — Discord
BigHipo operates through Discord. Discord may process information according to its own policies, and Discord explains that bots and apps can have different data access depending on their configuration and permissions.

06 — Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect information processed by BigHipo. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.

This policy may be updated when BigHipo's functionality or data practices change. The latest version will be published on this page.
